Loriandra grew up in the village of Lorlathil in Val'Sharah, daughter to Loriande and Delinon, named after her mother who served under the banner of the Wardens. In her youth Loriandra knew nothing but peace, often playing with her childhood friend Valnoressa in the woods to pass the time. In her teens her mother started training Lori in the ways of the Wardens to prepare her for her future. As she progressed into adulthood she started to see Valnoressa as more then just her best friend.
They never started any form of real relationship but they started staying out in the forests for longer periods of time to have more adult fun with one another. Lori secretly loves her friend more than she lets on, yet doesn't have the heart to risk their longtime friendship by confessing it to Val.

Her dear friend's disappearance for two long years pushed her to train harder, forging her into a mighty and skilled warrior capable of eventually besting her own mother. She had planned to forsake her duty and hunt for Val alone but the guiding wisdom of the Warden Mother, Val’s own mother, stayed her on the path to becoming a Warden to better assist in finding her daughter. She held much promise in Aethera’s eyes.

Elune had answered their prayers and brought Val back to them after those two years, yet she would lose something permanently when her mother and father were slain on the road outside the village. The attack on her parents, who's bodies were never found left Lori believing the Horde was responsible. She would regard most members of that faction with hateful suspicion from then on.

She did not endure the loss alone. Val would remain at her side and Aethera would take her under her wing to craft Lori into a Warden capable of being her right hand. Now a formidable Kaldorei Warden, she stands at Aethera’s side as her word and her will to rid the world of evil and dispense law & order throughout the Kaldorei’s lands.
