Strength & On Her

I love making art of this little shipping of mine. Jaina & Tyrande may not be together in the lore but they are in MY lore! I hope you like it too. More art coming real soon and some of it has Jaina!

Jaina could find Tyrande in the gym she had requisitioned for her beloved. A private place of solitude beneath Proudmoore Keep for her to hone her body and might for the battles ahead and the hunt of the wicked Banshee. Yet on some days she would join her in the gym, watching quietly or giving her silent company as she leafed through a tome for whatever form of research she was doing.

Tyrande had wondered why she would quietly join her, yet had not asked her why as of yet. Today though, upon seeing Jaina enter with a new book in hand to join her, she couldn’t go any longer without sating her curiosity.

“Surely there is somewhere else you’d rather read, my love? Not that I am adverse to your company. You enjoy reading on the benches in the maze or with a view of Boralus. Why here with me in this dark and vista-less room?” Tyrande inquired.

She peered across at the beautiful human of whom she intended to make her wife someday, lifting one of her weights in a repeated motion as she sat on a bench. Her muscular arm tensing and retracting with each lift of the hand-weight she held.

Jaina’s eyes flicked up from the page, offering her a kindly smile. “You come here to make yourself a weapon of vengeance, my dear. A weapon is without remorse and love, it takes life and gives none. I come here to remind you that you aren’t a remorseless weapon, to have you see me and know that you are loved.”

Tyrande’s arm stopped mid pump, her blue luminous gaze peering slightly wider at the human. Speechless at first. She opened her mouth to respond but had nothing to immediately reply to that with.

“I have no doubt you will hunt the banshee and bring her to justice. Yet I would not have you lose yourself and what you hold dear in the process. Grow stronger in body and in heart equally, ‘Rande.” Jaina concluded, smiling warmly at the Elf.

Tyrande nodded, there was little she could say back to that. The comfort of knowing that she had someone who cared that much would keep her heart free of blackened hate, of becoming like the banshee she hunted. “Thank you, Jaina.” She simply replied, her arm beginning to move once more.

There was a comfortable silence between them. Where the only sound in the room was the flicker of the candles, the clink and clatter of Tyrande’s weights being lifted and shifting of parchment as Jaina turned the pages. However, the Lord Admiral’s voice broke that silence with a follow up remark. “Besides, there is an impressive view before me. A veritable vista all in itself.”

Tyrande’s own lips curled into a smile, her head turning to give her beloved a different kind of a gaze, one that usually preceded bedroom antics. “Perhaps you’d enjoy a closer look.” She suggested, an inviting tone to her words.

“Perhaps I would.” The human agreed, thumping her tome shut within her palm, a billow of dust puffing into the air as she set it beside her. She stood up and headed towards her, leaving her clothes trailing along the distance between them as she closed the distance and entered into the arms of her lover.

”Perhaps a workout for me is in order too.” Jaina slyly remarked before melting into Tyrande’s embrace with an impassioned kiss.
